Let me start with my name: Viɘf is short for Vivianɘ. My full name is Vivianɘ Aliénor Kim, but Viɘf is easier to say [with an eef as in “brief”].  Pronounced /viːəv/ or /viːv/] not vee-ef, just veef.

I live in Leeds, UK to study Linguistics & Phonetics at the University of Leeds.

About my appearance: I dye my hair in ‘crazy colours’ every so often, I have some piercings [including a few I’ve done myself] and tattoos, I’m not very tall [about 1.62 m] and I love street fashion and art. Oh, and I like to put stuff on my head.

More stuff about me in general: I have a passion for photography, I even spent three years of my life trying to study it and make it more than just a hobby. I kinda failed at that, but I didn’t stop taking photos.

Some other great interests of mine are languages, journals, harp and Lolita fashion.

Lolita Fashion is a street fashion from Japan, but it has really gotten big in the rest of the world too. Needless to say I love it. Lolita is a big part of my life right now. I dress in it almost everyday: sometimes in a more toned done style, but at meet ups I can go all out. I love all the details, the way it looks, the way it makes me feel… Long live Lolita!

So nice to meet you, I’m Vief. A girl who… likes to draw mmmmuffins, has “colour-periods”, pierced her own nose, names her possessions, is straight edge, has been playing harp for over ten years, loves stamps and stickers and cute paper, loves going to concerts even with two perforated ear drums [ouch], has been a vegetarian but isn’t vegan because of the love of cheese, drags friends into photobooths, collects My Little Ponies, Pez Dispensers and well, cameras and photos.
