He won the coveted title with his scrummy banana and mango cupcakes (!!!) which you can get at his shop, Sunshine Bakery, in Leeds.  As if this boy weren’t already cute enough, this description of the cupcake below brought me to my knees: David’s winning cupcake is a luscious sponge made of toasted ground almonds, banana puree, mango puree and muscovado sugar, with a delicious topping of mascarpone, caramelised banana puree, muscovado sugar and rum.  thanks for sharing, Susan! Guess where I’ll be dragging my favourite Canadian when we hit the staying-in-Lds-blues in the coming month? :D :D :D
