I just finished Being Human 04x01
I’m with you. I was never this emotional over Doctor Who… however Torchwood came close. I am still dealing with Tosh and Owen and Iantooooo and I was a bit of a wreck after that. But then there was CoE and Miracle Day and it has to turn back around for me now.
And Sherlock? Well. We all knew it wasn’t going to be real anyway, so, I didn’t get the whole spazzing of the fandom over their Reichenbach feelings~
HOWEVER THIS ONE BLOODY EPISODE???!! damnit. This whole series is going to get to me, and it’s not going to be pretty.
And we’re such a tiny fandom too. Who have lost half already because of dumb reasons. Take care my friend. Take care.

The Benedict Cumberbatch Postcard Project. - Sending Dates & Deadline + What To Write.
Ok here we go, this is the big one guys.
What should you write?
Choose from one of these 3 phrases to write on the top of your postcard:-
1. ’Oh Crumpets, I’m Benaddicted’
2. ‘Oh Crumpets, I’ve been Cumberbatched.’
3. ‘We Believe In Benedict Cumberbatch.’
Then underneath this, you may write a personal and individual message of your own to Benedict. This can say anything you want it to, but please for the love of all that is holy, keep. it. clean. Please don’t be creepy, just be appreciative and normal haha
Then all you need to do is sign off your postcard like this:-
‘Yours Sincerely,
The Fandom.’
This just makes sure he knows that this was a group movement within the fandom :).
When should you send your postcards?
- If you are from the USA, Canada, China, Russia, Italy or Australia you need to send your postcards tomorrow (03/02/12) or the day after that (04/02/12).
- If you are from Hungary or Sweden you need to send your postcards on 04/02/12 or 05/02/12.
- If you are from Denmark, Finland, Germany or France you need to send your postcards on 05/02/12 or 06/02/12.
- If you are from Spain, Portugal or the Netherlands you need to send your postcards on 06/02/12 or 07/02/12.
- If you are from the UK you need to send your postcards in 07/02/12 or 08/02/12.
Does my postcard need to look a certain way?
Not at all. It would be cool if you could all get postcards that represent the areas you are sending them from so that Benedict gets an idea of just how widely spread his fandom is, and it makes it that little bit more personal and special if he knows where they have come from.

I will do this because I believe in the Cumberbatch and I think he deserved nice postcards of love and this is a nice project.
What if...?
The Doctor: You know, it's bigger on-Sherlock: It's dimensionally transcendental. Obviously it's bigger on the inside. It's a Type 40 Time And Relative Dimensions In Space TARDIS. Approximately 900 years old. Its chameleon circuit became dysfunctional sometime in the 60's, which explains it's obsolete police phone box disguise, and you haven't gotten around to fixing it. The way you hold yourself and the goofy smile on your face signifies that you're clearly trying to cover up your dark past, and considering the fact that you have two hearts, which is made obvious by the double pulse coming through your carotid, you're a time lord. The last of the time lords. Am I wrong?

So… I guess you all have heard/read/seen the news. It’s been pretty hard to miss it - the death of Sherlock Holmes. I’m gutted but I’m doing my best to keep it together. I don’t know about you guys, but I refuse to believe it. That he was a fraud. He just can’t have been, can’t have! I saw him at a crime scene once, I had followed the sound of sirens in hope it’d be one of his cases, and there is NO WAY he was a fake. You can’t make that sort of shit up, he was too good! He was an inspiration for all of us to be more observant in our every day lives, and I won’t accept the so called truth about Sherlock that is all over the media. I know you feel like I do, and now it’s our turn to show that we haven’t lost faith in him. Sherlock might be gone, but I won’t sit silent!

Imagine being a Sherlock fan in the show universe. You’ve been following the blog, stalking Sherlock a bit at crime scenes, try to be within earshot so you can hear him do his deductions. You’ve got cutouts from the papers. Then the news reach you. What do you do? Some would believe the papers, but not everyone would buy it. And they would do what they could to clear his name.
This is my take on what I would like to propose as a tribute campaign, to show our love and support. Yes, in real life. We put ourselves in the mindset of the in-show fans, and we take a Bad Wolf/Who Killed Amanda Palmer twist on it. Guerilla art/campaigning. (Not sure if everyone is familiar with WKAP. Palmer is an american artist who in order to promote her album told her fans to spread rumours about her death through street art. I can’t seem find any of it documented online though I’m afraid)
Let’s scribble on cubicle doors, back of bus seats, lamp posts. I won’t tell anyone to do anything illegal, but graffiti like in the pictures would be amazing. Paint on t-shirts, make buttons, go to the beach and write in the sand. Take photos of what you’ve done, put on twitter or tumblr and tag it!
suggestions of things to write:
- I believe in Sherlock Holmes
- Moriarty was real
- Richard Brook = FRAUD
- No doubt, Sherlock! (instead of no shit)
And feel free to come up with your own stuff!
Using digital media and spray paint is relevant to this chapter of the fandom. Why repeat what the original fandom did, when we can do something that is unique to us?
(I suggest you just grab an old t-shirt and slap some paint on it, but in case you’re not able to do that, I took the text from the two examples here and put them on a couple of shirts)
